SAP Development class or Package

A development class groups objects that are logically related. A development

   class is a type of development object. It is called as Package in 4.7 and later versions. Development class or Package can be created in SE21 or SE80 Tcode. Development class/Package is a collection of custom objects which are developed by the ABAPers.

SAP Development class or Package

•The development classes are described in table TDEVC. 

•A change request records the changes made to a development object.

•Use TCODE SE21/SE80 for creating development class

•Use TCODE SE09 (transport organizer) for display of development class &

   request number.

•Use TCODE SE01 for creating request number individually without creating

   development class (Package).

•USE TCODE SM01 for displaying all  TCODE in system

•Use TCODE SM12 for LOCK ENTRY.
